Marketing Locally For Profits
Having recently ventured back into the local marketing scene here in Thailand i decided at the outset that i wasn’t going to make the same mistakes i had done when i previously did local SEO stuff back in 2008 to 2010.
Back then it was extremely hard work to both do the services, and close deals and it was also extremely hard to scale with the way i was doing things. In fact i hated it and it felt like i was employed again and for me that’s possibly one of the worst situations to ever be in. In fact i would go as far as to say that these days i am psychologically unemployable and have been this way since way back in 1996 when i quit my last serious full time job.
The problem isn’t that the services offered were particularly bad, it was just that they were badly structured and too much work for too little money. They were a hard sell as every service required a learning curve for the customer and inevitably the customers had a lot of questions. The more questions a customer has the longer and harder it is to get to a sale!
But i have created a solution to all of that so that i can tap into the lucrative local marketing niche, take my share, while being easy to do and in fact i will train others to do it for me from client acquisition through to delivery of services! With this training you can learn how to do this too and its not hard to do!
So, i have been taking a look at whats been happening here in Thailand with the real estate market and this has been over the past 2 years or so and i have been noticing what their marketing strategies are, what resources they have been putting in and also where the traffic is for that particular niche both online and offline. I have been finding out exactly where the best deals can be found, how to resell them, how to find agencies that resell these best deals (and how to become one)…Basically everything that they do in their marketing and just as importantly, everything that they do not do, that i certainly would do.
What i have come up with up till now is how to create easy to do, scalable, local marketing packages that are high value, profitable, fast to turnaround and without the need for delivering measurable results (like search engine rankings for example) and yet still be able to charge a minimum of $500.00 for these packages.
